In a new zoning redevelopment area of the Ironbound section of Newark, 430 Market Street is a 13 story, 225 Unit mixed- use apartment rental building. Near Penn Station and fronting the Passaic River, the building will be one of the first to rise above the 5- story limit of the prior long-standing height regulation. The design incorporates a public plaza with references to traditional Portuguese materials and a sculpture bust of an historic Portuguese hero of the Jewish people and the holocaust of the second world war.
