The renovation and restoration of Riverbank Park structures inside the historic Olmstead Brothers park were completely renovated and restored to their original detail while introducing new program elements consistent with current community needs. The project included extensive restorative work of the grandstand stadium structure at the west baseball field, the park field house and the garden pavilion. An adaptive re-use of the field house converted the structure into community multipurpose areas and common park public restrooms and support spaces while preserving its original integrity. All work was performed within federal guidelines as the firm worked closely throughout the project process with the New Jersey Office of Historic Preservation to ensure compliance with restoration initiatives.
