Joining the Teachers Village neighborhood of Newark, the Court Street tower is spearheading the high rise residential development in the downtown area near City Hall. The project is a 12 story mixed-use building featuring first floor retail shops and resident amenities with 176 apartment units above. The project is part of a three stage subdivision which includes a retail expansion and addition to the Hallmark House building on Broad Street and a future tower at the Washington Street West corner. Keeping the streetscape facade with storefront shops at pedestrian level, the design incorporates new parking and a shared urban courtyard for its residents between the development’s 22 story Hallmark House and 12 Story Court building.
